Developing Curriculum Pathways for Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities

Are you looking to further develop pathways which lead to further study, apprenticeships and supported living for full-time learners aged 16-18 or adults?
Are you planning the mainstream curriculum to respond to and include learners with learning difficulties and disabilities?
This training will give you a good understanding of the current funding streams you can draw on to deliver learning programmes for learners with LDD.
It will also explore a range of progression options for learners with LDD.
In addition, you will be supported in identify existing/potential partnership arrangements to deliver a range of pathways for learners with LDD.
Suitable for :
Curriculum Managers, Curriculum Deputies, Heads of Sixth.
Delivery method:
Training can be delivered on a one-to-one basis or as a workshop with groups of managers.
Outcomes:
By the end of this training you will have
- familiarity with how Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support funding can be used to deliver the curriculum for learners with LDD
- an understanding of how to identify qualifications that ensure progression
- identified existing or potential progression opportunities and pathways for learners with LDD
